After almost a decade of service as architectural academician at University Technology Malaysia, Hj. Mohd Mokhtar ventured into practice by forming Mokhtar Rahman Partners in 1988. The practice then changed its name to M&R Architects Sdn Bhd, with list of new directors and associate directors in 2003.
With years of architectural experiences, his wide-ranging experience encompasses education, healthcare, residential, commercial nad tourism work. In recent years he has been working extensively with public bodies on various competitions for sustainable public hospitals.

Hjh. Siti Rokiah joined Arkitek Bersinar as principal architect in 2000 after 8 years of service as Chief Architect and over a year as Director of Works at University Technology Malaysia, Skudai, Johor Bahru. She then joined M&R Architects Sdn Bhd in 2003, bringing a vast-ranging experience in educational institutions sector.
Her strength in project managing and public relations complements the rest of associate directors, ensuring the practice deliver the best service of quality over the years.

Nashrul joined Roger Evans Associates in Oxford, assisting projects majoring on urban designs in 2003. He then joined Hives Architects in 2005, as architect cum urban designer, mostly involved with residential and urban regenerations projects around the Reading, United Kingdom. In 2009 he returned to Malaysia and joined M&R Architects as associate director.
Nashrul’s expertise mainly involve urban regenerations and master planning. He also acts as it manager and manages our busy Johor Bahru studio.

Upon graduation, Shaliza joined Oxford Architects LLP in 2007, assisting in many residential and commercial projects and working closely with partner and other consultants. In 2008 she joined Architects Design Partnership LLP (ADP), mainly on Oxford Colleges with focus of projects ranging from the careful insertion of contemporary buildings into historic sites.
Shaliza joined M&R Architects in 2009 as associate director. She is also currently responsible for HR and leads the administration management group within the practice, supporting our ongoing commitment on all aspects of staff welfare, training and development. Alongside Fakhrul Rozy, Shaliza manages our busy and expanding Kajang studio.

Fakhrul spent years upon graduation from Oxford Brookes University working for various design-focused practices in United Kingdom, including hut Architecture in London and Broadway Malyan in Reading until settling at MEB Designs in Oxford in early 2008. Fakhrul’s main focus is on refurbishment projects, providing contemporary architectural solutions on existing buildings and regenerating old buildings for modern usage.
His strengths in designs, architectural sketches, drawing and 3D productions led him to be appointed as Head of Designs at M&R Architects in 2009. His current responsibilities consist project managing providing design solutions for various ongoing proposals.
